At Loudoun G&CC on Monday 26 August — Congratulations to Jon Zampedro (Pleasant Valley GC) and Jeff Klatt (Medal of Honor Course) on winning the 2024 and 29th Annual Northern Virginia Senior 4-ball with a two-shot victory and a score of 6-under parr 66!

Starting on the #2 hole in a shotgun start, Jeff birdied #4 and Jon birdied #5 and #6 to get off to a good start. The middle of their round was all pars until their only bogey of the day on #15. Then they caught fire with Jon making birdie on #16, Jeff making birdie on #17 and #18, and Jon making it 4 birdies in a row with a birdie on #1 (their last hole). It was a great finish to end the round at 6-under par!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this event — we had 35 teams spread over the 3 divisions. The course was challenging while still allowing some good scoring (8 teams were 4-under par or better) and fun to play.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Head Golf Professional Glenn McCloskey, PGA, Assistant Professional Matt Balderston, PGA, the golf staff and clubhouse staff for their outstanding hospitality and support.
