The Senior Golf League of Northern Virginia (SGLNV) competitive golf season for 2021 begins on Wednesday, 5 May. The league was formed in 2004 and currently consists of 14 clubs in the Northern Virginia area. Each club plays 14 regular-season matches from May to August. The matches consist of six senior men’s players (three 2-man teams) representing each club playing fourball match play at scratch. The clubs are arranged in two 7-team divisions and the top four teams in each division will make the playoffs to determine the overall season champion in September. International Country Club won the league championship in 2020.
The SGLNV competition has been merged into and is now under the sponsorship of the Northern Virginia Golf Association (NVGA) as of the 2021 season.
