Entries for the 2024 NVGA match play tournament were scheduled to close on Wednesday 29 May or when enough entries had been received to fill the brackets. We have spots remaining open for 3 Seniors (age 55+) and 1 Super-Senior (age 65+), so we are extending the deadline until 3:00 pm on Friday 31 May.
We have a low turnout in the regular Amateur bracket and do not expect enough entries by tomorrow, so we have closed entries for the regular Amateurs and will have a small bracket of 8 players. They will play the round of 8 on Monday in the AM, round of 4 plus consolation matches on Monday afternoon, and the finals match on Tuesday morning.
We plan to publish the brackets, tee times and pairings by Saturday afternoon.
Although it is a smaller field than we hoped to draw for this inaugural match play event, those players that have entered make up a strong field and we expect some excellent competition.
We are looking forward to seeing those who have entered the tournament on Monday 3 June!
