The regular season of the Senior Golf League (SGL) of Northern Virginia ended on Wednesday, 21 August with the top 4 teams in the American Conference and National Conference making the playoffs leading to the league championship.
The Quarter-Finals matches were held on 28 and 30 August with the following results:
NC #1 Loudoun def. AC #4 Piedmont 6.5 – 2.5
AC #2 Trump National def. NC #3 River Creek 7.5 – 1.5
AC #1 Dominion Valley def. NC #4 International 4.5 – 4.5 in a sudden death playoff
NC #2 Springfield def. AC #3 Army Navy 8 – 1
With the top two seeds in each conference surviving the Quarter-Finals matches, the Semi-Finals will be held on Wednesday, 4 September as follows:
NC #1 Loudoun will play AC #2 Trump National at Loudoun
AC #1 Dominion Valley will play NC #2 Springfield at Dominion Valley
The finals match will be held at the neutral site of Army Navy CC (Fairfax course) on Wednesday, 11 September.
