Entries are now open for the Northern Virginia Senior 4-ball tournament which will be held this year at Trump National Golf Club, Washington, D.C. on Tuesday 12 July.
The event will be a 12:00 pm shotgun start on the Championship Course — 18 holes stroke play gross score only (no Net prizes this year). The field will be limited to about 40 teams and will be divided into 3 divisions: Open/Championship (Senior) Division (age 55+ both players), Super-Senior Division (age 65+ both players), and Legends Division (age 70+ both players). Seniors will play from the Blue tees at about 6400-6500 yds; Super-Seniors will play from the White tees at about 6100-6200 yds; and Legends will play from the Yellow tees at about 5800-5900 yds. Prizes will be awarded by division and paid to about the top third of the field. In the event of over-subscription, the teams with the lowest total team indexes will have priority. Entries will close shortly after we get a full field and we will inform any teams that are on the wait list after entries are closed. If you intend to play, submit your entries as soon as you can as we expect this event to be a sell-out. If not closed earlier because of a sell-out we will close entries by Wednesday 6 July to give us time to sort the field, make pairings and send out final details.
