Congratulations to the team of Jacob Peel and Suneil Peruvemba for winning the 2023 Northern Virginia Fourball championship at The Piedmont Club, Haymarket, VA, June 12, 2023. They birdied the par 5 18th hole to break out of a 3-way tie and win the tournament by 1 shot with a score of 8-under par 64. The teams of Kevin Dillard and Chris Ironroad (Army Navy CC) and Dave Dustin and Matt Cocorikis (Ft. Belvoir) finished in a tie for second place with scores of 7-under par 65. This is the second runner-up finish in a row for Dillard and Ironroad after having lost in a playoff to Defending Champions, Payne Dudley and Larry Spielberg, in the previous tournament.

The Northern Virginia Golf Association wishes to thank Brian Logue, PGA, Head Golf Professional, and the entire staff of The Piedmont Club for their assistance in hosting the tournament. The golf course was in excellent condition having hosted its member-guest event the previous week.
We also wish to thank the teams that played in the event and look forward to the field growing in size in the future as we restarted the tournament after a 3-year hiatus.
