The Senior Golf League of Northern Virginia (SGLNV) ended the regular season the last week of August.  The top four teams in each division made the playoffs which commenced the first week of September.

The format of the matches is four-ball played at scratch (no handicaps) in a Nassau format — 1 point for the front 9, 1 point for the back nine, 1 point for the overall 18 holes.  With 6 players from each club playing in 3 teams of 2, there are 9 points possible for each match.

In the quarterfinals, the overall #1 seed and American Division 1st place team Trump National defeated the National Division 4th place team Laurel Hill by a score of 8.5 to 0.5; #2 seed and National Division 1st place team Loudoun defeated the American Division 4th place team Evergreen by a score of 6.5 to 2.5; the #3 seed and American Division 2nd place team Springfield defeated the National Division 3rd place team International by a score of 8 to 1; and the #4 seed and National Division 2nd place team Piedmont defeated the American Division 3rd place team River Creek by a score of 6.5 to 2.5.

The semi-finals will be played on Wed 8 September with the American 1st place team Trump National at home vs. the National 2nd place team Piedmont, and the National Division 1st place team Loudoun at home vs. the American Division 2nd place team Springfield.

The winners of the semi-final matches will face off for the league championship on a neutral course at Dominion Valley on Wednesday 15 September.
