The 2022 Northern Virginia Senior Amateur championship will be held this year at Raspberry Falls Golf Club, Leesburg, VA on Monday & Tuesday 1-2 August.
This tournament is a VSGA tier S4 points event (Senior/Championship division only) with 30 points for the winner and points awarded for the top 10 finishers.
The defending champions are Mike Howell (International Country Club) Senior/Championship Division and Tim Vigotski (RTJGC) Super-Senior Division.
The format of the tournament is 36 holes of medal play (18 holes each day) in three divisions — Senior / Championship (age 55 and over), Super-Senior (age 65 and over), and Legend (age 70 and over). Similar to the VSGA, MAGA and WMGA Senior Amateur tournaments, there is no cut after play on Day 1 and all players have the opportunity to play both days. Play will be organized by tee times beginning about 8:00 am on both days.
The Senior / Championship division will play at about 6400 yards, the Super-Seniors at about 6200 yards, and Legends at about 6000 yards.
Entry Deadline is Thursday, 28 July.
The entry fee is $150 including golf, cart and range balls (no lunches are included). The club will have food and beverages available for purchase.

Practice rounds for the tournament may be played on Monday through Thursday the week of 25 July for a fee of $50 including a cart. Call the pro shop at 703-779-2555 to get your tee time. Do not just show up and ask to play a practice round. When you call, please make sure you indicate it is for a practice round for the event.
