We have a great field for the 2023 Northern Virginia Senior 4-ball at International CC on Monday 31 July!  It is a 1:00 pm shotgun start so plan your arrival accordingly.

Pairings and starting holes are available at the following link:  2023 Northern VA Senior 4-ball pairings

The first page is organized by the starting hole and the second page is sorted alphabetically by the captain’s last name.

The Notice to Competitors is available at the following link:  NoticeToCompetitors2023 4Ball

We will be using live scoring by GolfGenius to help us speed up the scoring process so we will ask for one person in each group to volunteer to enter scores in the app on their phones.  This also enables the leaderboard to be viewed during play so you can see how other teams are scoring.  Paper scorecards will be used which will be the official record for each team.

We will be having an optional skins game, by division, with an entry fee of $40 per team.  if you want to enter the skins game please pay your $40 per team when you check in with Mark or Lynn before you tee off.

The club is normally closed on Mondays so the clubhouse will not be open for drinks or snacks after play.  However, the half-way house will be open for hotdogs, sandwiches, snacks and drinks with cash or charge-back to your home club.  The halfway house is located so you will pass by it between #7 green and #8 tee, between #11 green and #12 tee, and between #16 green and #17 tee.  If you want something to eat or drink in the scoring area while waiting for the results please pick it up at the half-way house when you pass by.  The money we planned to put into a bartender and snacks has been put instead into the prize pool — this year’s prize pool is $5,000.  We are paying 10 places in the Senior/Open division (28 teams), 3 places in the Super-Seniors division (8 teams), and 2 places in the Legends Division (5 teams).

The weather forecast for Monday looks good with partly sunny skies and about 84 degrees.  Keep your fingers crossed for no afternoon thunderstorms.

We look forward to seeing you there — it should be a great event!
