2021 and 2022 Northern Virginia Senior Amateur Champion Mike Howell (International CC) with tournament chairman Mark Boedicker
The championship was held at Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club in Leesburg, Virginia on 1 & 2 August, 2022. The course was soft from recent rains but in excellent condition overall and presented a good challenge to the field. Mike was tied for the lead after the first day with a 1-over par 73 with David Sharpe (Blue Ridge Shadows) and shot a 1-under par 71 on day 2 for a 4-shot win with an even par total of 144. Well played, Mike! David Sharpe finished in second place with a 4-over par total of 148 with Mark Rallas (Loudoun G&CC) taking 3rd place with a 5-over par total of 149. The Championship / Senior Division is age 55 and over and the top 10 finishers in the Championship / Senior Division are awarded VSGA ranking points.
Super-Senior Division winner Bill Apple (Lansdowne) with tournament chairman Mark Boedicker
In the Super-Senior division (age 65+) congratulations goes to Bill Apple (Lansdowne) who won with a 2-day total of 3-over par 147. Good playing, Bill! Richard Lion (Springfield G&CC) finished 2nd with a 9-over par total of 153 and Mark Boedicker (RTJGC) finished 3rd with a 10-over par total of 154.

In the Legend Division (age 70+) Jeff Johns (Dominion Valley) was the winner with a 2-day total of 9-over par 153. John Walsh (Hidden Creek CC) was second at 158.
